Rolf Ekedahl being specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology after physicians training ( M.D.) and completed his medical thesis (Ph.D.) in 1996 at Karolinska Institute. Currently director of research and development in NeuFydi organization. He has published 20 papers in reputed journals on different subjects; Human peripheral nerve organization (microneurography), Quantitative EEG monitoring at Electroconvulsive therapy and Quantitative EEG analysis in Dementia diagnostics. Acknowledged as a peer-reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology, Scientific journal Biology & Life science, Archives of Biomedical Engineering & Biotechnology.
Quantitative EEG (qEEG) analysis techniques related to important clinical issues. Namely, Electroconvulsive therapy monitoring with qEEG technique to improve and better understand how it best executed. Another area for my recent interest is qEEG in dementia diagnostics and more specifically, to monitor Acetylcholine dependent Brain activities to improve therapies and early diagnostics
