Peter Curson his Born in Auckland, New Zealand. His currently Emeritus Professor of Population and Health in the Medical School at Macquarie University and Honorary Professor of Population and Security at the University of Sydney. In 1973 he was awarded a PhD from the University of Tasmania for his research work in the Cook Islands. Macquarie University where he would spend the next 36 years developing and teaching courses in Population and Medical Geography and Climate Change and Health. Masters of Public Health degree in the Medical School by teaching a course on The Biophysical Environment and Human Health. He achieved a worldwide reputation for teaching and research in Population and Medical Geography. At Macquarie he became the first elected Head of the Department Human Geography in 1987.He was appointed Foundation Dean of the Division of Environmental and Life Sciences serving on the University Senate and the Vice Chancellor’s Management Committee for ten years. He probably remains one of the best academic media commentators on Population and Health issues in Australia and New Zealand. He Published Many Research Articles. He Got Many Awards and Honours.
