Dr. Hayat Abdulla Yusuf is an Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Bahrain. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering (1st class honour), M.Sc. degree in Process Instrumentation and analytical Science (with distinction), and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science from the University of Manchester. Hayat Yusuf has several interests in several research areas such as modelling and optimisation of chemical engineering processes, miniaturisation and microfluidic systems, water treatment, and detection systems, as she published several papers in these fields since 2009, in addition to her interests in the educational field. Dr. Yusuf received several awards in her career and MEPEC 2015 award was one of her achievements as she received the Leadership Excellence Women Award (LEWAS-Mentorship) due to her outstanding achievement in this area.
