Debanjan Bhattacharya is a research faculty member in neuro-oncology laboratory in the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine of University of Cincinnati with 10 years of experience in brain tumor research, neuro-oncology, and cancer epigenetics. He Worked as postdoctoral research fellow at National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Atlanta, GA. He has vast experience in cancer cell and tissue culture, protein and mRNA expression studies with expertise in orthotopic xenograft mouse models of brain tumor and genetic and PDX mouse models of pediatric brain tumors. Experiences in studies on epigenetic regulation of tumor suppressors, and application of epigenetic treatments for brain tumor therapy. He has successfully written and generated data for foundation grant applications and have been Co-PI in two foundation grants from Cure Childhood Cancer.
