Hemant Giri obtained his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, INDIA in 2014. He did his post doctoral research fellowship at the University of Helsinki, FINLAND, where he discovered the cleavage and secretion of Tie1protein in inflammatory conditions. He moved to Thomas Jefferson University at Philadelphia, USA in 2016 and studied the role of ASK1 in endothelial dysfunction. In 2017, he was appointed as an Assistant Staff Scientist at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. For the past eleven years, Dr. Hemant Giri has been doing cardiovascular research with special focus on endothelial permeability, inflammation, thrombosis and sepsis.
